1872 Dime, PR66 Cameo
Two-Sided Concentric Patina
1872 10C PR66 Cameo PCGS. CAC. The centers on each side of
this attractively toned and well-contrasted Premium Gem proof show
typical pinkish-gold color with radiant luster, but a thin
iridescent ring around each side puts this piece on the top shelf,
aesthetically speaking. The obverse features cobalt-blue and
magenta, while the reverse is iridescent multiple colors. A
superlative example for a type set. Population: 4 in 66 Cameo, 1
finer (4/12).(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23CW, PCGS# 84765, Greysheet# 4257)
