Description

1872 Dime, PR66 Cameo
Two-Sided Concentric Patina

1872 10C PR66 Cameo PCGS. CAC. The centers on each side of this attractively toned and well-contrasted Premium Gem proof show typical pinkish-gold color with radiant luster, but a thin iridescent ring around each side puts this piece on the top shelf, aesthetically speaking. The obverse features cobalt-blue and magenta, while the reverse is iridescent multiple colors. A superlative example for a type set. Population: 4 in 66 Cameo, 1 finer (4/12).(Registry values: N1793)
