Description

1873 Arrows Dime, PR67 Cameo
First of Only Two Years Issued

1873 10C Arrows PR67 Cameo NGC. Between the two varieties of the proof 1873 dime, the later With Arrows production run was smaller, with just 800 pieces struck compared with 1,100 coins for the No Arrows design. The Arrows variant's desirability to type collectors further increases pressure on the small supply, particularly in higher grades. This memorable Superb Gem proof has outstanding contrast through distinctive reddish-gold patina. Despite the toning, neither the flash of the deep mirrors nor the frost across the devices is dimmed. Census: 3 in 67 Cameo, 0 finer (7/10).(Registry values: P1)
