1873 Arrows Dime, PR67 Cameo
Two-Year Type Coin
1873 10C Arrows PR67 Cameo NGC. This piece represents the
first of two years that saw arrows added to the obverse design,
representing a fractional weight increase from 2.48 grams to 2.50
grams. Both sides of this Superb Gem proof have exceptional
contrast and full mint brilliance with no indication of toning. The
obverse and reverse fields are deeply mirrored. NGC has certified
three examples in PR67 Cameo and one in PR67 ★ Cameo with none
finer for any designation (9/11).Ex: Long Beach Sale (Heritage, 9/2007), lot 1000; Joseph C. Thomas Collection (Heritage, 4/2009), lot 167.(Registry values: P1)
