Description

PR68 1876 Seated Dime, Finest at NGC
With Iridescent Toning and Good Contrast

1876 10C PR68 NGC. Type One Reverse. This is a Superb Gem with superlative toning, iridescent hues with aquamarine and rose prevailing on the obverse and similar tones on the reverse. The surfaces are pristine even under close examination with a loupe, and considerable field-device contrast is evident. This coin, encapsulated in an early NGC holder that some would call a "no-line fatty," should prove a popular target for multiple bidders. Census: 1 in 68, 0 finer (6/11).(Registry values: N4719)
