Description
1876 Seated Dime, PR68
Single Finest Certified
1876 10C PR68 NGC. Type One Reverse. This coin is a
magnificent Superb Gem with superlative toning and incredible eye
appeal. Iridescent shades of aquamarine and rose prevail on the
obverse and similar tones highlight the reverse, with some accents
of champagne-gold. The surfaces are pristine even under close
examination with a loupe, and considerable field-device contrast is
evident. This coin, encapsulated in an early NGC holder that some
would call a "no-line fatty," should prove a popular target for
multiple bidders. From a proof mintage of 1,150 pieces. Census: 1
in 68, 0 finer (8/12).From The Greensboro Collection, Part I.(Registry values: N4719)
