Description
1877 Seated Dime, PR64
Sole Deep Cameo for the Date
1877 10C PR64 Deep Cameo PCGS. CAC. Ex: Teich Family
Collection. From a small mintage of 510 proofs, just one 1877 dime
-- this coin -- has earned the PCGS Deep Cameo designation in any
grade (12/13). Boldly struck and richly frosted, the devices are
surrounded by deep, liquid mirrors that reveal only scattered
delicate hairlines under magnification. A slight golden hue is seen
at the rims, but the visual impression of this stunning, near-Gem
is one of an untoned and brilliant-white proof coin. From The Teich Family Collection.(Registry values: P1)
