Only Four Finer Coins at NGC
1878 10C PR66+ NGC. According to Mint records, 800 proof
Seated Liberty dimes were struck in 1878, but some of these
probably went unsold and were melted at a later date. This high-end
Premium Gem features well-detailed frosty design elements and
reflective fields, but the contrast is limited by attractive shades
of champagne-gold and powder-blue toning. Census: 10 in 66 (1 in
