Description

1882 Seated Dime, PR67
Richly Toned Throughout

1882 10C PR67 PCGS. CAC. Fortin-101, R.3. A ring of fiery-orange toning surrounds an icy, blue-aqua center on the obverse of this exquisitely patinated proof dime; the reverse is a bit more subtle, but when viewed at the proper angle, it also displays rich aqua and blue coloration, but with golden margins. The fields of this Superb Gem proof are deeply liquid and reflective. The devices show soft mint frost and provide subtle cameo contrast, although the holder does not indicate so. Population: 10 in 67, 3 finer (7/14).(Registry values: N2998)
