Description

1882 Seated Liberty Dime, PR67
Exceptional Proof Quality

1882 10C PR67 PCGS. CAC. A ring of fiery-orange toning surrounds an icy, blue-aqua center of this exquisitely patinated proof dime. The reverse is a bit more subtle than the obverse but, when viewed at the proper angle, it also displays rich aqua and blue coloration, but with golden margins. The fields of this Superb Gem proof are deeply liquid and reflective. The devices show thick mint frost for bold cameo contrast, although the holder does not indicate so. Population: 10 in 67, 1 finer (2/14).(Registry values: N2998)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23D7, PCGS# 4779, Greysheet# 4289)
