Superior Eye Appeal

1883 10C PR67 NGC. CAC. Fortin-103. Two varieties have been identified for the proof 1883 dime. The present variety is attributed by a level date punch that is positioned more to the right, along with a partially broken S at the top in the first S in STATES. A melange of cobalt-blue, lavender, violet, and gold-orange resides on this Superb Gem. Sharply struck design elements and well-preserved surfaces round out the coin's superior eye appeal, aptly affirmed by CAC. Census: 18 in 67, 3 finer (5/14).(Registry values: N2998)
