Description

1884 10C F-101, R.3, PR65 PCGS. White-on-black contrast is apparent, but the green label holder precedes the extension of the Cameo designation to Seated dimes. This lightly toned and flashy Gem is sharply struck and impressively free from marks. Only 875 proofs were struck.
Ex: St. Louis Central States Signature (Heritage, 5/2007), lot 349, which realized $1,380.
