Description

Gorgeous 1884 Seated Dime, PR67 Cameo

1884 10C PR67 Cameo NGC. CAC. The fully brilliant fields and centers are surrounded by thick bands of deep electric-blue, red-brown, and gold peripheral iridescence. The design features are sharply struck, with just a bit of the usual softness on Liberty's head. A tiny planchet void (as struck) is located on the upper left reverse field, very near to the upper left shaft of the wreath, and should not be mistaken for a contact mark. A great, conditionally scarce example of this Seated dime proof issue. Census: 17 in 67 Cameo, 3 finer (2/09).(Registry values: N2998)
