1884 Seated Dime, PR67 Cameo
Well-Struck and Frosty

1884 10C PR67 Cameo PCGS. CAC. Fortin-101. The obverse of this carefully preserved Superb Gem proof displays concentric peripheral bands of royal-blue and violet around the warm sun-gold center. The reverse is more subtly toned, showing a blend of lemon-gold and aquamarine. The devices are well-struck and frosty, with some light die rust observed upon close examination. The proof 1884 dime is an available issue overall, but Cameo examples are seldom seen and rare this well-preserved. Population: 20 in 67 (1 in 67+) Cameo, 0 finer (3/15).(Registry values: N2998)
