Description

1884 Seated Dime, PR68 Cameo
Exceptional Eye Appeal

1884 10C PR68 Cameo NGC. While possibly not perceptibly different to the casual observer from a PR67 Cameo, this PR68, as with any coin in any denomination at that grade level, will show something extra that sets it apart from a 67. In this case, the surfaces are suffused with pale reddish, blue, and light green patina. The toning is light enough that it does not impair the viewability of the coin's thick mint frost over the devices or the depth of the mirrors in the fields. An exceptional Seated dime for type purposes. Census: 4 in 68 Cameo, 0 finer (10/12).(Registry values: N4719)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23D9, PCGS# 84781, Greysheet# 4296)
