1884 10C PR68 Cameo NGC. Thick mint frost and untoned, deeply reflective silver surfaces, which easily "fade to black" as the coin is tilted under a light, are the hallmarks of this immaculate Superb Gem Cameo 1884 dime. The proof mintage was 875 pieces, but today this piece is tied for the finest at both NGC and PCGS within the Cameo designation. A tiny lint mark left of the second S in STATES is Mint-produced. Census: 5 in 68 Cameo (1 in 68 Cameo), 0 finer (12/13).(Registry values: N4719)
