Description

1885 10C F-101, R.3, PR65 NGC. CAC. Slight repunching on the 1 in the date, combined with die scratches at the top of the wreath, identify Fortin-101. The dies struck both proof and commercial pieces, but the mirrored fields and squared rims confirm proof status. The obverse is predominantly aquamarine. The reverse has a tan-gold center and an electric-blue periphery.
