Description
Deep Cameo PR65+ 1886 Dime
Only Deep or Ultra Cameo Specimen
1886 10C PR65+ Deep Cameo PCGS. As of (1/11), the present
lot is the only proof 1886 dime to achieve a PCGS Deep Cameo or NGC
Ultra Cameo designation. This brilliant Gem exhibits the absolute
white-on-black contrast expected only on post-1970 proofs. The
glassy fields and snowy devices appear flawless except for a tiny
spot on an obverse denticle at 7:30. The strike is good with slight
blending on the left corner of the rock and on the opposite portion
of the wreath. Only 886 proofs were struck.(Registry values: P1)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23DB, PCGS# 94783, GSID# 4303)
