Description

1848 $1 --Genuine--PCGS. Proof. The PCGS number ending in .98 suggests Damage as the reason, or perhaps one of the reasons, that PCGS deemed this coin not gradable. In our opinion, this coin is a proof specimen that has altered surfaces. Both sides are highly brilliant from polishing, with moderate field marks on each side. Proof 1848 Seated dollars are extremely rare and in demand, regardless of their overall appearance.
