Description
Charming PR63 1858 Seated Dollar
1858 $1 PR63 PCGS. One of the first generally available proof Seated dollar issues was the 1858, of which no business strikes were coined. Its mintage is speculative, with most estimates ranging from 225 pieces to a more common 300 specimens or slightly above. The present Select proof, though faintly hairlined in the fields, offers strong reflectivity beneath a layer of gold-gray patina. Boldly impressed and gorgeous.
