Description

1860 Seated Dollar, PR62 Cameo
Beautiful, Deep Mirrors

1860 $1 PR62 Cameo NGC. OC-P1, R.2. Deeply mirrored fields contrast sharply with light-silver devices. This coloration is only interrupted by select regions of russet toning around the stars. All details remain razor sharp, and noticeable abrasions are restricted to the reverse field left of the eagle's beak. As with other denominations, Proof mintages peaked in 1860 before the economic changes caused by the Civil War sent them crashing down.(Registry values: N2998)
