Prairie Collection. The first and third vertical shield lines
extend upward into the horizontals. The 550 proof dollars minted in
1862 were struck from two die pairs. This is the usual variety, of
which an estimated 200 pieces survive. Reflective fields engulf
frosted, fully struck motifs, delivering bold Cameo contrast.
