Description

1862 Seated Liberty Dollar, PR64 Cameo
Only One Finer Coin at PCGS

1862 $1 PR64 Cameo PCGS. CAC. A small mintage of 550 proof Seated Liberty dollars was achieved in 1862, during the first full year of the Civil War. Sharply detailed Choice examples with bold cameo contrast are very rare. This delightful MS64 specimen offers deeply reflective fields and frosty devices, under light shades of champagne-gold toning. Exceptional eye appeal is evident on both sides, with minimal signs of contact. Population: 7 in 64 Cameo, 1 finer (11/12).
