1862 $1 PR64+ Cameo PCGS Secure. CAC. OC-P2, High R.3. Osburn-Cushing Die State a/a. Later die states of this proof reverse show small die breaks on the tips of two olive leaves. As a date, the proof 1862 Seated dollar is a rarity in Cameo grades and nearly uncollectible with Deep Cameo contrast. This is the only Plus-graded Choice Cameo at PCGS (9/18). Vivid blue toning clings to the borders, leaving the interiors with a warm golden glow. The fields are deeply reflective, framing well-struck design elements.
