Description
1863 Seated Liberty Dollar, PR64 Cameo
Only 460 Examples Struck, CAC
1863 $1 PR64 Cameo PCGS. OC-P2, Low R.4. CAC. Osburn-Cushing
Die State a/a. The reverse vertical shield line 1-3 extends to
horizontal line 5. The richly frosted design elements of this
impressive Choice example contrast dramatically with the deeply
reflective fields to produce a startling Cameo effect. The devices
are sharply rendered and the fields show a few traces of
champagne-gold toning. PCGS reports only six numerically finer
Cameo proofs (6/25). Population: 16 in 64 Cameo, 6 finer. CAC: 10
in 64, 5 finer (6/25).Ex: New York Signature (Heritage, 3/2012), lot 3554; Summer FUN Signature (Heritage, 7/2016), lot 3931.(Registry values: N4719)
