1864 $1 PR64 NGC. This exceptional Choice specimen shows strongly reflective fields through delicate layers of patina, rose-gray in the centers and sea-green at the margins. The 1864 silver dollar had a proof mintage of just 470 pieces, and near-Gem and better examples remain elusive today.
