    Description

Carefully Preserved Proof 1867 Seated Liberty Dollar

1867 $1 PR63 PCGS. This example displays milky two-toned surfaces, with attractive olive-green accents near the obverse devices, and an overall golden hue to the reverse. Fully defined, as befits proof production methods, and hairlines are minimal for a proof issue in this modest grade. An interesting dark-green toning streak bisects the lower reverse, and two similar but faint streaks travel from the lower right to the upper right obverse rim. Only 625 pieces were struck.
