Near-Cameo 1868 Seated Dollar, PR64
1868 $1 PR64 NGC. The 1868 is occasionally available in near-Gem condition, but it seldom displays the level of eye appeal seen here. That is primarily because of the mint frost seen over the devices, almost enough to warrant a Cameo designation against the illimitable depth of reflectivity in the fields. Most of each side is brilliant but there is a thin ring of golden-brown and cobalt-blue at the margins.
