Both sides of this amazing specimen offer incredible eye appeal. The obverse has a peninsula of light silver, extending up to the left from 5 o'clock, surrounded on three sides by intense violet and blue toning. The reverse is mostly light pinkish-lilac, with deep blue peripheral toning limited to the rim, dentils, and tops of letters. The strike is spectacular, showing every detail to full advantage, with the sole exception being the top edge of the left (facing) wing. The fields are deeply and fully mirrored, surrounding the lustrous silver devices to create impressive cameo contrast. There are no noticeable contact marks or other imperfections on either side of this amazing Seated dollar. Census: 1 in 68 Cameo, 0 finer (9/11).(Registry values: N10218) (NGC ID# 252P, PCGS# 87016)
