Description
1869 Seated Dollar, PR63 Deep Cameo
Optimal White-on-Black Contrast
1869 $1 PR63 Deep Cameo PCGS. Snow-white devices contrasting
against deeply mirrored, reflective fields produce an optimal
white-on-black contrast on this Select proof 1869 Seated dollar.
The proof strike has fully brought up the details throughout both
sides, including notably all the star radials on the obverse
periphery and all of the intricate details on Liberty's hair,
ribbon, and cap. The grade determinant is likely a few scattered
hairlines and some contact marks of no consequence, but there is
eye appeal to spare on this attractive proof Seated dollar, a nice
entry point to the series for the right bidder. Population: 4 in 63
Deep Cameo, 14 finer (1/14).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 252R, PCGS# 97017, Greysheet# 7336)
Weight: 26.73 grams
Metal: 90% Silver, 10% Copper
