Rare So Starkly Contrasted
1869 $1 PR64 Deep Cameo PCGS. OC-P1, High R.5. The 1869
proof Seated dollar is a rarity with Deep Cameo contrast,
regardless of numeric grade. This near-Gem is tinted light golden
and is well-struck everywhere save for the upper edge of the
eagle's left (facing) wing. Grade-appropriate marks appear in the
fields but are of little distraction. Population: 9 in 64 (3 in
