1870 $1 PR63 PCGS. OC-10, High R.6. Type One Reverse. Die
State a/e. This rare variety piece can be attributed to a nearly
circular die line at Liberty's waist and a die line near the
shield's ribbon. Obsidian tones envelop this piece with reflective
fields. There are some minor abrasions below the eagle's beak, but
do not prove overly detrimental to the distinct appeal. This coin
represents an ideal opportunity to obtain this scarce variety. PCGS
