1871 $1 PR66 Deep Cameo PCGS. CAC. This is an incredibly
eye-appealing Premium Gem proof of this late-series Seated dollar
issue, one whose midnight-black fields contrasting against
snow-white, frosted devices should make a multitude of collectors
wishing to snap it up quickly at auction. Rarely does one see a
clearly original, unhairlined proof Seated dollar with such
profound field-device contrast. Checking the PCGS Population
Report, we are unsurprised to find that the present PR66 1871
dollar is the sole finest of the issue at PCGS, and we note the CAC
approval will also increase the appeal to many collectors. This is
a coin that needs no further elaboration, as its credentials are
