Attractive 1859 Half Dime, PR65
1859 H10C PR65 PCGS. Walter Breen (1988) says 800 1859 proof half dimes were minted, and PCGS/NGC population data indicate well over 300 examples have been certified. The Gem in this lot displays attractive medium gray surfaces with bluish accents. The strike is solid, and both sides are devoid of significant marks. Population: 22 in 65, 10 finer (8/07).(Registry values: P4)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 235P, PCGS# 4438, GSID# 3908)
