1860 Half Dime, PR66 ★ Cameo
Wholly Brilliant, Reflective
1860 H10C PR66 ★ Cameo NGC. CAC. The Mint struck
1,000 half dime proofs with the new Legend Obverse design, but low
sales and mass-melting resulted in a net mintage of around 535
specimens. Few examples survive so fine as this Premium Gem Cameo
piece with the added Star designation and CAC endorsement. Each
side is wholly brilliant and dramatically contrasted with frosty
motifs against deeply reflective mirrors. Census: 2 in 66 Cameo (1
