Rare This Starkly Contrasted
1861 H10C PR66 Cameo NGC. This fully struck, near-brilliant
proof possesses stark white-on-black contrast, with fully mirrored
fields that are free of bothersome marks and hairlines. Most
examples of this proof half dime issue lack significant contrast,
which is where this coin stands far above most of the known
survivors. It is tied with one other as the finest of just three
