1862 Proof Half Dime
Tied for Finest at PCGS
1862 H10C PR67 PCGS. This Civil War-era proof half dime in
Superb Gem grade is one of the two finest certified at PCGS without
the Cameo designation, and tied numerically with three other Cameo
pieces (12/11). This example boasts deep, strictly original and
beautiful patina radiating outward from purple to aqua to gold to
amber. A small lintmark appears in the left obverse field, and a
couple of tiny, dotlike indents on the reverse are the only
