1869 Half Dime, PR67
Ex: Walter H. Childs
1869 H10C PR67 NGC. Ex: Childs. Ocean-blue toning dominates
the obverse field, although golden-brown is also present. The
seated Liberty has dove-gray high points. The reverse periphery
displays rich lilac-red, while the field near HALF DIME has light
tan patina. The wreath exhibits cameo frost. Well struck and flashy
with excellent eye appeal.Ex: Walter H. Childs Collection (Bowers and Merena, 8/1999), lot 171, which realized $3,220.(Registry values: P1)
