Description
Desirable Superb Gem Proof 1869 Seated Half Dime
1869 H10C PR67 PCGS. A highly desirable example of this elusive date. The surfaces are toned with pleasing medium silver-gray, with blue and sunset gold accents around the borders. Fully struck as expected (although some proofs of this period exhibit softness on the wreath--not so here). The number coined was a mere 600 pieces, and the present coin is certainly within the top 10 certified, and with the appealing toning, is a likely choice that any specialist will appreciate.
