Highly Attractive 1869 Half Dime, PR67

1869 H10C PR67 PCGS. PCGS and NGC have certified a fairly large number of the 600-piece 1869 proof half dime mintage. A mere seven of these, however, attain the Superb Gem level, and only one coin finer. Golden-orange patina is accented with splashes of sky-blue and crimson and a solid strike emboldens the design elements. Both sides yield a degree of field-motif contrast at various angles. Population: 2 in 67, 0 finer (8/09).(Registry values: P1)
