Description
Breathtaking PR67 Cameo 1870 Half Dime
1870 H10C PR67 Cameo NGC. A breathtaking specimen with silver-white, frosty devices and limitless mirrored fields, this Superb Gem half dime is completely unencumbered by impairments of any kind, save for a tiny area of dark toning near the R in AMERICA. Light die striations are visible under magnification on the obverse, a part of the die preparation. A relatively large number of proofs were produced in this year, perhaps reflective of both the increasing number of coin collectors as well as the change to a new decade.(Registry values: P1)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2367, PCGS# 84453, Greysheet# 3943)
