1856 Seated Half PR63 NGC. From an estimated mintage of just 25 pieces, Walter Breen speculated the 1856 proof Seated Liberty half dollar was the rarest denomination of the year. The surfaces are mostly brilliant with just a hint of light reddish patina that darkens slightly around the margins. Census: 4 in 63, 11 finer (3/10).From The Boca Collection, Part II.
