1858 50C PR63 PCGS. An unknown number of proofs were struck in 1858, estimated by Wiley and Bugert in their Complete Guide to Liberty Seated Half Dollars to be between 80 and 400 pieces. Exquisitely struck, with a melange of gold, violet, and electric-blue toning. A very pretty specimen.
