Description
1870 Seated Half--Obverse Stained--NGC. Proof. WB-101. The striking details are especially strong on this scarce Seated Liberty half dollar. Full details are present on Liberty's hair, foot, and sandal. Unfortunately, the obverse surfaces are stained an unnatural shade of gray. Only 1,000 proof half dollars were struck in 1870.From The Boca Collection, Part II.
