Lovely Gem Proof 1874 Arrows Half
1874 50C Arrows PR65 NGC. Philadelphia struck just 1,250 With Motto, Arrows proof halves across two years, and the type is popular with collectors. This 1874 representative comes from the second issue, which amounted to 700 specimens. The boldly impressed devices show a measure of frost on each side, and the lightly gold-toned fields offer a modicum of contrast. The margins have deeper amber patina that approaches orange on the obverse. Census: 13 in 65, 7 finer (8/07).Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 27UV, PCGS# 6435, GSID# 6494)
