Bold Gem Proof 1875 Seated Half
1875 50C PR65 PCGS. The year 1875 saw the resumption of the No Arrows, Motto half dollar type of 1866-1873. Only 700 proofs were made of this Reconstruction-era issue. Gems such as the present piece are elusive but occasionally seen, while Premium Gems are usually "as good as it gets." This piece displays the expected bold strike over golden-tinted surfaces.
