1879 50C PR65 NGC. Type One Reverse. The obverse of this tantalizing Gem proof has dusky blue-green and peach toning framing a pale gray-gold center. The reverse adds deep lavender hues and enriches the color across the whole of the coin. Decisively struck and carefully preserved.
