Beautifully Toned PR65 1880 Half Dollar
1880 50C PR65 PCGS. Type Two Reverse. A low total issue with only 9,755 halves struck of this date, of which 1,355 were proofs. Both sides are fantastically toned in multiple iridescent colors. The coin is also exceptionally well preserved and the proof mirrors are deeply reflective; but what any viewer will come away with is the memory of the toning on this piece.
