Scarce Type One Reverse

1881 50C PR66 Cameo PCGS. Type One Reverse, identified by the split berry above the left stand of H in HALF , and very scarce as such. Walter Breen (1988) indicates this reverse is only found with proofs. Whispers of barely discernible light tan color reside on the cameo surfaces of this Premium Gem proof half. Sharply struck and nicely preserved. Population: 3 in 66 Cameo, 1 finer (2/10).
