Dazzling 1881 Half Dollar, PR67
1881 50C PR67 NGC. Type One Reverse. Dramatic blushes of cherry-red, lilac, ocean-blue, and olive-gold endow this intricately struck Superb Gem. Perfect aside from a few faint hairlines on the upper right obverse field. The 1881 has a mintage of just 10,000 commercial strikes and 975 proofs. Census: 4 in 67, 1 finer (2/10).Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 27UG, PCGS# 6442, GSID# 6515)
