Pleasing 1882 Half Dollar, PR66 Cameo
1882 50C PR66 Cameo NGC. The 1882 is one of the key dates in the Seated Liberty half dollar series. As only 4,400 circulation strikes were produced, proofs (1,100 mintage) come under collector pressure. Soft champagne-tan obverse patination cedes to light champagne-gold on the reverse. A nicely struck well preserved Premium Gem proof Cameo. Census: 16 in 66 Cameo, 6 finer (1/10).Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 27UH, PCGS# 86443, GSID# 6519)
